The Old Workhouse is the new brand name for the site formerly known as the King Street site. The name and new signage reflects the development of the site as a heritage and creative industries site for Nidderdale. It houses the Nidderdale Museum and a range of specialists craft workshops. Niddedale Plus are working closely with Harrogate Borough Council, who own and manage the site, to develop and market units suitable for and attractive to creative practitioners. Two new units will be created on the site of 4 old garages on the site. It is intended that these will be ready in the early part of 2009.
