About Nidderdale Arts Partnership
Role
The role of the Nidderdale Arts Partnership is to act as a focus for and a forum of arts practitioners from all sectors within Nidderdale.
Objectives
- To provide a local consultative and advisory forum for arts development work and for the arts development team
- To contribute to Forward Planning and the development of an Arts Development Plan for Nidderdale.
- To network and link individual artists and organisations for information and resource sharing
- To link together to create a coordinated arts programme which is well marketed
- To work together to develop sustainable projects within the framework of the Arts Development Plan and its regeneration objectives.
- To identify individual and common support/infrastructure and resource needs so the appropriate training or funding sources can be researched or put in place.
- To consider where there may be opportunities for development and/or gaps in provision.
The objectives of the Nidderdale Arts Partnership are under review by its membership.
The Nidderdale Arts Partnership meets on a bi-monthly basis and is chaired by a member of the Nidderdale Plus Partnership Board.
Membership of the group is open to local artists and arts organisations who agree to work in partnership to further the agreed aims of the project as outlined above.
